We Are Still Here

The Central Public Library “Margarita Maza” in Oaxaca de Juarez warmly invites you to a profound and moving theatrical experience: "Seguimos Aquí" (We Are Still Here). This epic and socially-engaged play bravely confronts one of Mexico's most painful realities: the disappearance of young people aged between 15 and 25. Directed by Wagive Jiménez Turcott, with vocal and musical advisory by Carlos Cruz, and corporal advisory and choreography by Adalberto Velásquez, the talented cast — including Valentino Cruz, Edna Hernández, Ilian Ruiz, and others — delivers a powerful performance. This production is an urgent call for reflection, inviting audiences to witness, listen, question, and engage in dialogue about a critical social issue. Join us for this unique opportunity for social and artistic introspection. Admission is completely free! Don't miss this impactful event on Thursday, October 29th, at 6:00 PM (18:00 hrs) at the Biblioteca Pública Central "Margarita Maza".
